Wolverine Ultimate + RIG 500 Pro Headset issues

Hello all! Just recently purchased a Wolverine Ultimate controller. No issues there. However, I was gifted a RIG 500 Pro headset. I can't get the microphone to work with this controller. I have attached the headset to a computer where the mic does work. I've also attached it to the standard xbox controller and it worked there. But not to the Razer Wolverine. What puzzles me further, is that the headset will receive audio. Any ideas/suggestions to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
