wolverine v3

So basically i barely got the worverine v3 pro tournament edition and out of the bod the m4 paddle in game was making my character slow when i was walking i use the m4 paddle for editing in Fortnite and it really annoys me also i think i already fixed it in Fortnite but in Cod when i press the m4 paddle it just stops my character on both games i even change the bind and still it still does it im on xbox NOT ON PC is there anyway i can fix this or if not ill just return this and buy a scuff controller or buy this controller again
