Wolverine V3 Pro controller disconnect issues / Stuck on a purple light

Hello,

Ever since I got my controller back in April, I’ve had constant issues with wired connection not connecting right out of the box. In my opinion, the wire and the actual connection point on the controller seems too loose to be stable. 2nd issue, my controller sometimes gets stuck where the Razer logo is at purple, but yet doesn’t want to shut off, disconnect, nor connection for my Xbox. 

Please help, I thought I was getting a good controller but now its just been a mess right out of the box. I am currently ordering a different wire to see if that helps. Otherwise I don’t know what to do.
