Wolverine v3 pro latest firmware charging speed issue

I've discovered another issue with the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro controller.(2025 latest firmware)

When the Wolverine V3 Pro is powered off and charging with the official charging cable (Razer logo illuminated yellow), the charging speed is extremely slow. It appears to take over 12 hours to fully charge.

However, when the Wolverine V3 Pro is powered on and charging, it charges quickly, within 3 hours.

when I charge while playing games with my Wolverine V3 Pro, it quickly gets fully charged in 3 hours. If I charge it while the controller is powered off, it probably takes more than 12 hours.

I tested the charging by connecting it to a desktop computer.

This issue was not present with the 2024 firmware but has appeared since the 2025 firmware update.

With the 24-year firmware, it would charge within 3 hours even when the power was turned off.

i request a firmware update to resolve this problem.

Summary:

When charging with the Wolverine V3 Pro turned off, the charging speed is very slow.

When charging with the Wolverine V3 Pro turned on, it works normally

I have this issue too. I struggle to keep this controller charged.  On top of the aforementioned bug,  mine will not start charging from a wall brick, nor from my Xbox Series X in sleep mode.  Will there be a firmware fix?

Update:  There is a firmware update from September 2025 (v2.03.00.00_r1) that fixes the sleep mode charging issue. Not sure about charging speeds yet.

This is a significant and frustrating bug introduced with the 2025 firmware. Charging should not be dependent on the controller's power state. Hopefully Razer acknowledges this and releases a fix soon, as it defeats the purpose of a 'quick' charge feature.
