Anyone else notice the controller loosing signal or having input delay while on Xbox wirelessly? Returned one controller already thinking it was defective. May just be software related? Any help fixing this would be great!

Hi, just curious. Which series of XBOX console you are using?
You may wanna try on PC and see will it have the same delay?

I’m on Xbox series x. When I connect it via wire it works flawlessly, however, when I use the dongle that delay / input lag (not even sure which one it is) shows up. It’s kind of hard to explain but I'll give it a shot. Let's says I'm aiming to the right, the stick seems to have like a ghost input even after I stop moving the stick. almost like it's still reading an input for a second. After it happens, it goes back to normal, but it happens often to the point where it prevents solid aiming in shooters.

Funny enough, that's exactly what I've tried to explain in my post as well.. I don't know what it is or why, but its annoying as hell. Also tried a factory reset to no avail..

Glad I’m not alone, hopefully a Razer rep sees this and investigates….

Currently Call of Duty MW4 Multiplayer and Warzone, the issue happens in both. Xpenitentone also has the same issue and on his thread, it’s happening in battlefield too. Are you on Xbox series x? Perhaps this is just a console related issue?

Hi, I just try Call of Duty Warzone Free version.

I did not see any of the lag issue. Are you using any hub or any setting in the Razer Controller app in Xbox?

xPenitentOne

My controller is bone stock besides my buttons being setup, with the cable it works fine. It's only wireless when it loves to act up.

I use the controller Xbox app to tweak it to my liking. I assign all 4 back buttons and top right claw bumper. Set my deadzones to 0, adjust rumble to 2 turned off double deadzone everything else I left alone. Yours is stock? Maybe adjust settings causes the issue? But then what’s the point of the controller if you can’t adjust it the way you like it lol.

I ended up exchanging the controller for another one and still have the same issue wirelessly on Xbox series x. Something’s definitely not working right. Two controllers same issue.

xKID_CHAMELEONx

I'm experiencing this exact same issue, and I'm on my second V4 Pro as well. I initially thought I had a defective controller, so I exchanged the first one, only to experience the exact same problem with the replacement.

The controller works flawlessly when wired, but as soon as I use it wirelessly with the dongle, my aim becomes inconsistent. Sometimes it feels like inputs aren't registering at all, while other times the aim overcorrects and goes completely wild.

I've reported this to Razer Support, but so far, they haven't acknowledged a potential underlying issue and have been focusing on generic troubleshooting instead.

The problem is that Best Buy has a 14-day return window, so I need answers before that expires. Otherwise, I'll be stuck with a $200 controller that's unreliable when used wirelessly in Call of Duty.

Based on the number of people reporting the same symptoms, this appears to be more than an isolated defective unit. It could be an issue with the wireless connection between the controller and dongle, or with how the dongle processes and transmits stick inputs to the console.

If you're experiencing this too, please report it directly to Razer Support as soon as possible. The more people who submit reports, the harder it will be to dismiss this as an isolated incident, and the more likely we are to get the engineering team's attention and a proper fix.

I'm also going to share this thread with my support agent so they can see how many other users are reporting the same problem.

I also found someone on reddit having this issue.

As much as i love the controller, this is obviously unacceptable and as of now it's the usual protocol trouble shoot. I get it, but this is worthy of a HOTFIX. This is super important! If I want a cable, I buy the tournament edition.. Not the wireless one.

I will generate a support ticket today. Thank you all for sharing the exact same issue. Tells me it’s something they definitely need to address.

xKID_CHAMELEONx

I'm glad I found this thread because I genuinely thought I had a defective controller or something wrong with my specific setup. As frustrating as it is, it's reassuring to know that others are experiencing the exact same issue.

As I mentioned, please make sure you open a ticket with Razer Support ASAP and describe exactly what you're experiencing. The more people who report this, the harder it will be for them to treat it as an isolated issue. Hopefully, we can get this in front of their engineering team and get a firmware fix pushed out in the next few days.
