Xbox Nari Ultimate mic \\ app issues

Hello all, I was rather stoked to finally receive the Xbox Nari Ultimate for the Xbox last week (I have an Xbox One X). Out of the box, I had no issues connecting and getting solid audio on with both Dolby Atmos and WinSonic. The major issue is the mic volume \\ cutting in and out while in an Xbox party. I can't get in a party where members either say I am really low or that I am cutting out. I have to actually shout to be heard consistently. Since the set cannot be connected to a PC (without the Xbox dongle), I downloaded the Xbox app after seeing in the screenshots that it had controls for all things including the mic. The problem here is that the Xbox app will not recognize the set. I go through the pairing (again and again) but I am stuck at the screen asking me to pair them. I don't seem to be alone with this mic issue - there seem to be many other threads with this issue with no resolution. Short of sending these back what can I do to:
  • Get the mic to be more sensitive \\ reliable
  • Get the app to recognize the headphones \\ adjust settings \\ update the firmware if available.
  • If I got the Xbox dongle, should I be able to reach the settings on a PC, and any I made, would stick with the headset?

So I returned the Ebay ones I purchase - I just could not get the mic to work reliably. What I (we) don't know is if this was an issue with early versions of the headset and has since been addressed by Razer. Can anyone at Razer at least wink that this is the case; that the mic issues have been addressed - and someone like myself can have confidence that if we purchase new - this wont be an issue? Thanks...

I guess I have my answer.. on the quality of both the product and support. Shame..
