Yeelight Screenbar Pro (YLTD003) x Synapse 3 | Razer Insider

Hey guys!

I'm new here, and trying to discover the fascinating world of RGB!

I needed a screenbar, and took the Yeelight one (Screenbar Pro - YLTD003), which adds RGB behing your screen.

The bar works flawlessly when connected to the yeelight app, I have nice waves where every led behind the bar has a different colour.

So I tried to connect it to Synapse 3, as it's compatible. Quite a mess to manage to do it (with Yeelight Connector and all), but in the end, it's detected and I can control it with Synapse.

Except for a detail : It seems it's considered as a single bulb.

When I see my bar in the Studio, I have 4 dots, which, I think, are supposed to be the "zones" of the bar (see the screenshot).

Thing is, I think only the second one is taken in account (which would be the red dot on the left). When I watch the colours changing on the dots on my screen, the light of the bar is the same as this one.

So, the bar only displays a single colour at a time on the whole leds. Which makes pretty poor effects (the wave in the presets is only blinking from bright, to less bright, to off, and then bright again).

The games integrations are epilectic (The loading in Sims 4 is a fast blinking from white to green for instance... I suppose it should be smooth), and the ambilight thing (don't know how it's called in English) is pretty disappointing too.

I'm pretty sure there's a step I missed to bind those dots to the bar. Can someone help me with this?

Cheers 🙂
