Razer Basilisk V3 Pro and WIreless Doc V1

  • Scroll Mode Toggle and Cycle Up Sensitivity Stages are no longer working. Clicking them does nothing.
  • When I disconnect the wireless doc and plug in directly to my mouse functionality is restored.

Exactly same problem here w/ my Basilisk V3 Pro 35K.

Since the update, my headphones keeps switching audio profiles by itself, when I change mouse DPI, the audio profile notification is coming up aswell, for no reason, also, my mouse cursor keeps jumping, making it impossible to play most games, any suggestions to fix this?

Recording of the issues: https://medal.tv/games/screen-capture/clips/nOFCsOUmsfBQ-w4xX?invite=cr-MSxYSXksMTUzMDkzMzU

Sorry, I should have specified earlier, the issues are happening with my Razer Naga Trinity & Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro.

  • For the headset: The bug happens as soon as I switch audio profiles once. After that, it gets stuck in an endless loop, constantly toggling back and forth between “custom (which is default” profile and the other stereo profiles.

  • For the mouse: I'm mostly dealing with cursor jittering and rollback issues, which are super noticeable in-game whenever I try to pan the camera.

Update: V4.0.86.2610281118 solved all my issues, thank you !

For years, you’ve been putting your customers through hell because of this crappy software. I know you’ve been doing this deliberately, as part of a plan. For those who don’t know, let me summarize the situation: if I had tried to have Synapse rewritten from scratch using AI systems like Claude, Astra, etc., you would have found zero errors in the software.

This never-ending string of problems isn’t an engineering issue—it’s part of a deliberate series of manipulations.

  • The mapping issue of my Razer Naga V3 Pro has been resolved, thanks, yesterday was like a day off, I didn’t want to change the old habit of pressing sensitive buttons, which are my interrupt, kind of like a core system. This time, I should say you guys are great!

Same here. Sometime it works, sometimes not. (Mostly not)

Affected Keys in my case:

  • Sensitivity Clutch
  • Cycle Up Profile
  • Repeat Scroll Left
  • Repeat Scroll Right

Standard Layouts, nothing fancy :)

I’m experiencing an issue with the original Razer Basilisk V3 Pro (30K), connected through a Mouse Dock Pro.

After Synapse starts, the Scroll Mode Toggle and DPI Cycle Up buttons stop working. Normal clicks and scrolling still work, and both buttons have the correct assignments in the Standard layer.

Changing the polling rate from 8,000 Hz to 1,000 Hz did not help. Closing Synapse alone did not restore the buttons, but turning the mouse off and back on with Synapse closed restored both functions.

Is this issue being investigated for the original Basilisk V3 Pro with Mouse Dock Pro? Is a fix or recommended workaround available?

Thank you.

Update to their update.

Looks like they did correct the key mapping issue.  But the profile does not carry into the game i am playing.  Doesn’t matter if default profile or link the game i am playing.

The V2 profile and key mapping works within the game.  which has me thinking it is still this update that is causing this.

Razer V3 Pro key mapping issues caused by this update.

The two buttons on the mouse by left click used to be mapable.  they are now locked to

Sensitivity Up

Sensitivity Down

this change has to be fixed.  the key feature of this mouse is to be able to map these buttons to whatever we want.  Who cares about sensitivity up and down, let me key map these buttons again !

It happens when i remap any of the other buttons.  either i can re-map the two by left click.  or i can re-map the other 3 buttons.  I can not have both sets.

Update: I found a workaround for the Basilisk V3 Pro + Mouse Dock Pro button issue.

On my original Basilisk V3 Pro (30K), both Scroll Mode Toggle and Cycle Up Sensitivity Stages stopped working after Synapse started. Changing the wheel mode directly in Synapse still worked.

This restored BOTH physical buttons for me:

1. Open the Basilisk V3 Pro's Customize tab in Synapse.
2. Select the DPI cycle button in the Standard layer.
3. Instead of leaving it on Default, explicitly assign Sensitivity > Cycle Up Sensitivity Stages.
4. Click Save.

It assigns the same function, but explicitly saving it appears to make Synapse generate and apply the button mapping table for the Dock. I only reassigned the DPI button; the scroll mode button started working again as well.

Before this change, the logs showed "skip empty DualLink mapping table". Afterward, the mapping table was applied successfully, and I confirmed that both buttons worked with Synapse still running.

This suggests a problem with how an all-default profile is handled through the Dock. This is a workaround confirmed on my setup, not an official fix. No firmware flashing, reinstalling, or program-file modifications were needed. I have not tested whether it survives a reboot yet.

Hope this helps others with the same issue, and gives the Razer team a useful lead.

Another update, plagues with new issues.(for a lot of us it seems this time)

Since the October 28th update, my Basilisk Pro V3 35K scroll toggle mode, and cycle up sensitivity stage buttons do not work. I have tried every fix from recent failures from others over the years including, completely clearing and deleting Synapse 4,deleting all mouse pairings in control panel, resetting PC multiple times everything any tech posts (which is always the same) NOTHING WORKS. Its so frustrating we have to become the test rats because you roll these out without proper checking for bugs...at least give us an option to opt out for an amount of time,so a fix can be issued..this is the 4th time I have experienced an issue after a new update rolls out, and im 2months away from having this mouse for a year.

++ When I plug the mouse into the charging cable, everything works again, both buttons work just fine, however now I don’t have my polling rates, and its stuck at 1000, and well, this defeats the purpose of a “wireless mouse”

++ If I run my mouse in Bluetooth mode, and bypass 2.4Ghz mode, everything works again.

++ But as soon as I turn it back to 2.4 mode, there’s a few clicks which you usually hear when you first start the mouse, and then nothing works again. It does the same when I first start the PC. there’s the usually clicks as it turns on. But once I start Synapse, there’s 2 quick clicks, and the issue is there again.

++I’ve even tried my other Basilisk V3 x Hyperspeed mouse, and although it doesnt have a scroll change button, the sensitivity button works just fine. so theres clearly an issue with the software for my main mouse.

Again, I have tried every fix Razer has issued to other issues like this from other users, nothing works. The issue is with your software, some where somehow there is an issue in the code over writing these things. Its really frustrating us, the customers have to deal with these because things aren’t being quality controlled before they roll out. Can’t even go back to a previous update which would probably fix the issue. And the worst part? Most of these recent small updates don’t even include my mouse, but every time one drops, there’s something that stops working, or an issue I have to fix. It’s just crazy to me, this top-tier gaming mouse was $175USD, and there’s issues, a $20USD wireless mouse will never have.

I know I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. I just hope they issue a fix, cause Im out of ideas..

Ive spent over 6hours trying to figure something out today, and I can guarantee if I make a customer support ticket, even saying everything I have tried, they will post the “basic fix message” even though I make it clear I have tried everything they issue. It’s a waste of time, as they clearly just go down a list not knowing the real issues.

Bro!!!, you are the best. I changed it to “Cycle up sensitivity stages, and both buttons works again!

You are right, its not a software fix, but it fixed the issue. I spent several hours trying to fix this, tried everything!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. My mouse is the Basilisk Pro V3 35K so I knew being similar I had to try it! I searched so long for a recent post someone asking for a fix, but when I found this new thread, I knew there was something I could use. Again, Thank you so very much! Hopefully with your post, and the support seeing this is fixing an issue, they can narrow down what the cause was and release a fix for everyone. I have had this mouse now 2-months short of 1year, and I have had 4 issues with updates like this, where something stops working, and have had to fix them everytime, or do a workaround until a fix is issued.

It’s just crazy for how much these mice are they don’t seem to test these updates before the launch them. I get bugs happen, just seems a lot of this could be avoided with an option to go back to previous version, or simple opt out until its fixed. Again, thank you for saving me.
