These AMD laptop specs look great. My big question is that without the Thunderbolt (3 or 4), can you use them with a Core?
Nope, ryzen is cursed by intel thunderbolt so no eGPU for now, till they lift the cursed lol.

While it is hard to make comparison between Blade 14 and mid-2021 Blade 15, does anyone know if there's a difference between the GPU between these two models? For clarification, is the 3070 in the mid-2021 Blade 15 as powerful as the 3070 in the Blade 14? I've heard that Blade 14 3070 can draw up to 100 Watts while mid-2021 Blade 15 3070 can only draw up to 95 Watts - not sure if true?

There’s no detailed reviews out yet so no one know but theoretically 15 has bigger cooling room, but maybe amd chip is a bit cooler and more efficient (10nm on intel vs 7nm on amd) made 14 has more cooling room on cpu side that can allocate more performance on GPU. But it’s worth to notice that Razer use unlocked higher tdp hx ryzen 9 unlike most thin light categories that using lower tdp h/hs so it also might change the story, the Fans acoustic might also be vary depending on that. Review will answer that.

Nice laptop, and finally amd, but 16gb ram is too low. Hope they release advanced models with 32gb.

The technology naming are just names Marketing made up. The Intel 10nm and the TSMC 7nm (or 7+ now days) are closer in density that it seems.

It's good to see them going for AMD as well.

Hey guys just ordered a blade 14, have 3 screens uand like to purchase the razer core chroma or the razer chroma docking station to avoid plugging multiple wires every time I work on my desk. Is the core x compatible since to thunderbolt? Any docking station u guys advise me? Thanks

Great catch, hopefully sometimes later down the road, I think they just announced 6800m and it’s around 3070 and 3080, but also depends on titles. And already exist rtx 3000 is easier for Razer in term stocking maybe. They already maybe made intel mad do you think they’ll also do this to nvidia:big_grin_:.

Or maybe for the next AMD graphic gen, it's the first time in years that Nvidia felt chills down his spine. With "a bit" of work I'm sure that Navi 3 will bring better ray tracing and features.
