I hope you all are having a nice day, the title says it all. I use linux and thinking of buying Blackshark V2 but i have some doubts currently i am using Steelseries Arctis 3, it has a great microphone but the sound i get is very low sometimes i have to boost sound to 140% to make it audible sometimes after that it's not audible i am thinking if the usb thing with blackshark can help to amplify sound or just to be loud enough to be audible, i won't be able to use the software and even if i do it wont be permanent i can go to windows to configure it and will the settings get stored on headset or they won't work if i dont have software? i am expecting a great sound experience, should i get it? thanks

Hi, @papaku527! Nice to meet you!
Sorry to say this, but the settings will not work if Razer Synapse is unable to use. And Razer Headsets won't save the settings by itself.

I have a Razer Blackshark V2. The sound card is proprietary and I've basically always had to use it instead of the audio jack, which is kind of annoying. Also, the mic has never worked for me.
If I were to go back in time and buy something else, I'd go for an audiophile headset - they're just better than gaming omeglz headsets, I hear.

To be honest, I would recommend buying headphones and a microphone instead of a headset. For 90-100€ you can get the Sennheiser 599HD when there's a discount on Amazon (best headphones I've ever used), and then a cheap Trust microphone or a lavalier, they're gonna do a better job than a headset microphone anyway
