Cant Update Windows

Michalson

I have Razer Blade Stealth 13 (2019). I have used the recovery that wiped everything from the laptop and made new fresh windows 10. The problem is that the version is 1903 and windows is refusing to update to newer version probably because the version is too old for update to 2H22. I´ve searched a lot of forums but couldnt find the fix. Is there any other way?

The next question is: Can I format everything and do fresh install from USB? Then just download drivers for everything from website.

I did a fresh install of windows 10 from USB.

I formated all areas except the razer recovery partition.

Windows downloaded and installed all the drivers. The only thing I downloaded and installed was BIOS and Firmware update for the laptop.

Also installed Razer Synapse for keyboard lighting and performance settings.

Everything works.

Yes, you can format everything and do a fresh install from USB. Then just download drivers for everything from the Razer website.

Here are the steps on how to do a fresh install of Windows 10 from USB:

  1. Create a bootable Windows 10 USB drive. You can use the Windows Media Creation Tool to do this.
  2. Connect the USB drive to your Razer Blade Stealth 13 and boot from it.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 10.
  4. Once Windows 10 is installed, connect to the internet and download the latest drivers for your laptop from the Razer website.
