I have submitted a support ticket, but thought it might be worth asking here also... My new Razer Core X Chroma arrived today - it was well packaged and protected, looked brand new... but... When I connect the power and switch on, it's totally dead. Is it defective or have I missed something obvious? I replaced the power cable, same issue, power is plugged in, plug is switched on (UK 3 pin with switch), and the switch on the back of the Core is also on.

    Is it plugged into your laptops TB 3 port and is your laptop on? The core does not boot up till its plugged to a laptop and the laptop is booted up too

    WOW! Well that was the problem! Doesn't mention that anywhere in the quick start guide or elsewhere. Working like a charm now, THANKS SO MUCH jaseow, wish I'd known that 5 hours ago!

    One slight disappointment though... it's not truly plug and play, I always have to reboot after connecting the Thunderbolt cable to the Razer laptop. The USB and network interfaces are detected, but the display is not.
