Dedicated GPU or NVIDIA Optimus if I want to run at 144Hz while gaming?
Hi all - I recently got a new razer laptop with a 144Hz display. However, I can't change from 60Hz -> 165Hz (I'm assuming this won't damage the display?) unless I change the settings from NVIDIA Optimus to Dedicated GPU only. A few questions:
1. Will this have longterm hardware issues if I run it continually on dedicated GPU?
2. Is there a reason not to do this? (AKA if I use NVIDIA optimus, will it automagically allow me to run higher than 60Hz in games anyway?)
