Frequent System Errors, DISM/SFC Failures, In-Place Upgrade Failed (0xC1900101 - 0x3000D) on Razer Blade 16 (2024)

Hi everyone,

I recently started experiencing repeated system-level issues. I’m trying to determine whether this is caused by Windows corruption, a driver conflict, or potentially a hardware problem. Any advice from the community would be greatly appreciated.

 

  • Occasional black-screen crashes with the message “Windows encountered a problem and needs to restart”
  • Random application crashes and unexpected program exits
  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth fails at around 59% with error 1726 – RPC server failed
  • NVIDIA Control Panel (AppX version) fails to install/update

I have already tried:

  • DISM /ScanHealth and CheckHealth
    → Both report “No component store corruption detected”

  • Using the official Windows 11 ISO to run a repair install (In-Place Upgrade)
    → Fails with 0xC1900101 - 0x3000D during the FIRST_BOOT phase (MIGRATE_DATA)
