Help , need ec firmware & bios firmware for razerblade 14 2017 gtx 1060
Hi, guys .. i recently bought razer blade 14 2017 gtx 1060 , and accidently update its EC via razer blade updater , now my blade is dead / brick ... could anyone help me by share / dump their RB 2017 EC firmware & bios firmware to my email @cai.full.house@gmail.com ...
I will reflash it to good local technician in my country , (RMA is last choice because im out warranty and beside , i read at the forum someone gotta pay 900bucks for replace the whole mobo , same case like me : brick because wrong EC firmware , i dont know why) ... any help will be appreciate ( sorry for my bad english )

Did you also try unplugging the battery? let it a while and plug it back and see if it boots, try also esc to access bios. If it can boot try access recovery mode by pressing F9 or bios by esc.
Btw you can still contact support even you’re out of warranty, they provide me support or even hardware (recovery stick) on my out of warranty systems.
JoikansaiThanks for replying my thread , my blade now dead / brick which cannot turn on ... i also unplugging both bios baterry and laptop battery to reser it ... but no luck , i wish i could RMA my blade, but from my experience from my blade before which got fluid damage , they cost me to buy/replace it with new motherboard (i don't know if fail firmware they cost me to replace whole mobo or not ).. then i bought my blade to local technician , they say it needed to reflash ec firmware and bios firmware ... i wish i could get from someone who want to dump their ec & bios firmware and send to my email :( (Sorry for my english )

Syai_RazerI don’t have Blade 14 2017 anymore but you can try also asking on other Blade forum like Notebookreview forum owner lounge, yesterday just shared someone my Blade 15 bios there but not for brick issue. CS can also maybe provide it by saying that you’re not in the country where you purchased it and can’t send it for repair. Don’t worry btw I’m not native as well:smile_:

figrin1unfortunately razer won't give me link to download dumped EC & Bios ... i already contact them two times to send me healthy bios & ec firmware but none of them help , they just give me link to download driver support etc ... and maybe you know that if i send them, they will cost me whole mobo ... hope razer give better system tomorrow , like alert in system which prevent update wrong firmware / any software ....

I have a 2017 Blade, and I can send you a BIOS file but I don't know what utility to use to get the EC firmware. If you or someone else can help me figure that out, I can get it for you tomorrow.

I don't know how they extracted the EC firmware... that thread is hard to follow, and the UEFI tool that they linked to looks like it's used for extracting the BIOS.

If it’s still under warranty I would send it to Singapore, I think Asia pasific repair center there, don’t worry about repair fee if you’re under warranty, if you bought from reseller in your country ask them to do that. If you’re still want to try, PM me (remember how;)) I’ll give you the bios, but do this with your own risk:smile_:

figrin1Hi thx again for original bios rom , my friend (technician ) said that ec firmware inside bios firmware (around 64 kb size file cmiiw) , he must dig deep into bios file to get EC firmware ... but yesterday still no good news , hope soon we can fix my razer so i can working mobile again
