The GTX 1650 model that came out just a few months after we bought the MX150 Stealth also happens to have BETTER battery life while being significantly better at gaming. Apparently, its only drawback is that it's not that great for video-editing but I think it's safe to say most of us don't really care about that bit. So I spent a significant amount of money into a device that immediately got outclassed in every way. Well that hurts.

Lucky for me that I didn't pay full RRP for the MX150 and got it quite cheap. Still love my MX150 Stealth but I don't use it for gaming much lol.

That’s only power limit that apparently Razer isn’t doing well on that area, hope it’ll be fixed by update. Look at cpu frequency boost and thermal headroom on HWinfo64 sensor screenshot. The power limit should be increased more, I meant by really more:smile_:. It still has over 40degrees thermal head room till Intel max cpu thermal limit. I know this since I see also on other brands with similar 1065g7 Chip, cinebench should be better than 8656U. There’s no reason Intel release weaker cpu. And that reviewer doesn’t notice that since he doesn’t run Intel XTU, and probably doesn’t know Razer Blade well, only mentioning 15/25 watt cpu tdp, of course it’s related but for max boost frequency clock you doesn’t need max 25 watt ctdp.

Vielleicht ein kostenloses Uprade :-) Bro, I'm sorry with you. Have also the Early 2019. Would have brought them out better with the GTX 1650. I'm very annoyed but unfortunately I can't give it back. It would be nice if Razer combed something for the buyers. Maybe a free uprade :-)

I honestly couldn't blame them if they slapped hardware into a new laptop model that made it much more efficient. On the contrary, I'd praise them for not making numerous laptop models that are intentionally rigged to be constantly incrementally better than the "lower" model.

Ehh... I'm glad I have a 25W CPU.

In this day and age, no matter what you buy, something better will come out soon after for the same price. But if you wait, you'll wait forever, since there's always "something better coming out soon". People should just buy what they need, when they need it, without fear of what's coming up next. The next laptop you buy will be better than the one with the 1650 you're currently looking at. Enjoy the one you have and don't look back.
