I need help with connecting my BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt video capture card to Razer Blade 15 late 2019. I believe I've got an older model Shuttle card with a Thunderbolt 2. I used it for VJing and recording analog video into my Macbook pro via TB port for years, and it still works fine on Mac.
Recently I've got a new Razor Blade 15 laptop. Official specs on Razor web site say it has Thunderbolt 3 port which really looks EXACTLY as old TB2 and also it has another USB-c port. But no matter how I try to connect Shuttle card to it - via the Thunderbolt port with normal TB>TB cable which works fine with Mac, or via Thunderbolt to USB-c adapter (original Apple adapter or Chinese copy ) into USB-C port, in both cases computer don't see and recognize Shuttle card. Of course, all drivers are up to date.
I've contacted Razer support yesterday. They weren't really helpful, and just told me it's not their business and I should contact Blackmagic Support. I did so, but maybe someone already solved such a kind of compatibility problem...
