Hi all! I'm getting my new Razer Blade 15 next week and am super excited. Its my first ever razer laptop, was on msi previously. I've seen a number of posts about undervolting, benchmarking etc. but I have absolutely no idea what that means. Total newbie here so would appreciate if someone could run we through what to do? Cheers!

Undervolting CPU gives cooler CPUs temperature that increase the performance and make slightly quieter fans, due lower voltage it may bring longer battery life as well than on stock. There’s 2 software that users often use, Intel XTU and throttlestop both is free, maybe for first time it’ll be better to try Intel XTU, it has also benchmarks and stress tools, and for both tutorials there’s already a lot video on YouTube or online guide. For or other apps that I think are needed for testing your unit, 3Dmark free for performance benchmark, HWinfo64 for hardware temperature and clock sensor. MSI Afterburner for gpu related, like temperature, overclocking, monitoring etc. Maybe as additional cpu stress test, prime95 and cinebench r15/r20 and Unigine heaven or superposition for gpu benchmarks are worth to get as well.
