New Razer Blade Stealth, odd text pixelation

I recently purchased the FHD graphics model of the new razer blade stealth. It works great, except for 1 issue with text. When using a dark text editor theme (tested with visual studio 2017, visual studio code & sublime text) there is a strange aliasing pixels around some characters. What's odd is this is related to scroll position. If i scroll the text up or down, the characters display properly. I tried dual booting with a linux partition, and i can confirm that the error does not happen with linux (tested visual studio code & sublime text). I've tried calibrating the display colors on windows & adjusting clear type text, neither seemed to help. I've attached some pictures of what's happening, hopefully someone knows how to fix this.
