Oculus Quest Link with Blade 15 Base Model (2020) | Razer Insider

I brought the 2020 Model of the Blade 15 a few days ago with the 1660 Ti graphics and I am trying to get Oculus Link working.

My understanding was there were issues on the 2019 model but that they were resolved in the 2020 model?

I first tried this cable https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FY28Z8F/ and although the Oculus software detects it as USB 3 it fails to start the USB test. Things like Oculus Dreamdeck and Rift Home run fine but anything more heavy like Steam "The Lab" results in a lot of tearing and stuttering. I tried both USB-C ports

So I got the officially recommended third party cable https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MZIPYPY/ with exactly the same results; I tried all 3 USB-A ports, and tried with the USB-C ports with Apple's USB-C to A adaptor

I have submitted a ticket to Oculus, but has anyone actually managed to get Oculus Link working properly? When searching all I can find is the previously mentioned issues with older models but saying that it is fixed in the 2020 model.

Thanks
Well I am all out of ideas

I have set OVRServer_x64.exe to always use the NVidia GPU, both in Nvidia settings and in Windows Graphics Performance, ensured I am completely up to date with all Windows updates and drivers, disabled GeForce experience overlay, so far Oculus support has had me make sure windows game mode is off, uninstall Razer cortex and Synapse, uninstall Nvidia GeForce experience, ensure that USB was set to never sleep in the power settings and go into every USB device in device manager and disable "Allow this device to turn off" on every single one.

Used https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/fmt63k/what_you_need_to_know_about_usb_3x_to_diagnose/ to confirm the ports are 3.1 with enough power, completely factory reset my Quest, completely factory reset my laptop, even did a fresh install of Windows in case something Razer was including was causing the problem (not that I thought it was likely) and nope still no luck.
It seems that one of the recent NVidia, Razer, Quest or Oculus desktop updates has fixed whatever was wrong as it works perfectly now. Now to try Half-Life Alyx 😃

Nice to hear that it's working now! Can you confirm that Half-Life Alyx is working also on the 1660 Ti version?
Yep, all works well, no tearing or stuttering at all throughout the entire game
I want to run it with an Oculus Quest 2 too but on a 2020 base model with a 2060 GPU, so I'm glad to hear that it works well.

Could you tell me which cable do you use for Oculus Link?

I think I'll buy the official cable, but I'm curious.
I am using https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FY28Z8F
Thanks for your answer.
