Optimal dual SSD setup for Razer Blade 16?

Just FYI to provide closure for anyone else who might read this. I actually wound up going with dual 2TB Samsung 990 Pros because I was concerned that the 4TB Western Digital BLACK SN850X would be double-sided and therefore, not fit. It was also double the cost and I did not want to mess with RMAing it if it did not work out. Very pleased with the speed and performance of the Samsung 990 Pros though (after running firmware updates). If anyone else here does opt for a dual SSD configuration involving the Blade 16 and a 4TB Western Digital BLACK SN850X, let me know how it goes for you!

I have today put a Crucial CT4000P3SSD8 in my Razer Blade 16 and had no problem as this 4TB drive is single sided. i.e. it is thinner than most SSD’s and so you could have two 4TB SSD’s in the laptop. I currently have a 2TB  drive for the OS and a 4TB for everything else.

Upgrading my Razer Blade's storage is on my to-do list, and this guide is a lifesaver!  Going with the Samsung 990 Pro for the OS is a no-brainer, but I'm torn on the second drive.  While the WD BLACK SN850X screams speed, I'm wondering if there might be a more budget-friendly option that still keeps things snappy.
