I actually already bought the Razer Blade Advanced 3080, 360hz display. I wanted to do more research on it after reading some forums. I'm mainly going to be using this laptop to program and hopefully do video game development projects soon. It will be more school oriented, BUT I will be playing games like osu!, rocket league, and any other similar game. I have my main desktop for my FPS and streaming, so I bought this for the purpose of school and non-serious gaming while travelling. My question is, what is truly "better" and which should I lean towards going for?
I am unable to pay

You can check detail review on notebookcheck, FHD 360Hz 3080 advanced is already out.

I personally prefer qhd since I’m more single player and appreciate more to games picture quality. But I heard from some review that QHD variant brightness is a bit lower like 300 nits compared 350 nits according notebookcheck, I might be wrong but in case it’s a matter to you might be worth to check. QHD screen option has though g sync capability though I never saw any tearing on my FHD144Hz advanced 2018, or maybe my titles aren’t fast enough to catch it. FHD version might also have better battery life over QHD for pushing less pixels, which’s important for laptops that’s being used for school usage.
