Hi, I have a 2 year old Razer Blade 14 2021 edition and it's heating up quite fast now. I read online that laptops more than 2 years are recommended to re apply thermal paste.
Can anyone recommend a good rb14 thermal paste? What's the sizes as well for the thermal pads?
Not sure if this is still relevant for you, but I have the same model and recently ordered new paste and pads.
I think Razer uses Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut but don’t quote me on that. I picked up some JP-DX1 after someone recommended it.
As far as the pads go, they use several different thicknesses throughout the laptop. So depends on whether you’re changing them all or a few.
I’ve opted for just replacing the pad on the SSD since mine started leaking silicone oil everywhere . Ordered SR-600 pads in 3mm and 4.5mm just in case I want more pressure.
I do still have some Arctic TP-3 thermal pads but I could only find between 0.5-1.5mm. Which I recommend if you need thinner pads.
Ptm7950 for the cpu itself?
