Razer blade 14 availability in 2025

Hello,

I am interested in purchasing the razer blade 14 for my girlfriend for her upcoming birthday this month. It appears that these laptops are out of stock and I noticed that people have been posting on reddit that this model has been unavailable for 3 months now. Does anyone have any inside information on when they will be selling this model again? One of the key reasons I wanted this model is because it doesn’t have soldered on ram, being able to upgrade ram on a gaming laptop is a major requirement which many gaming laptops don’t seem to fill these days. It is my hope that razer doesn’t jump on that bandwagon with their next release. I was going to buy the dock just so I could give her something on her birthday with the promise of getting the blade 14 when it is available, but I don’t want to wait if anyone happens to know if they intend to make their new models with the soldered in ram.

My girlfriend wants a 14 in laptop so this is the model I have chosen after checking out all the other options.

I appreciate any insight that anyone can provide.

Thank you in advance for any input.

Yeah, I got the 2024 16-inch and it was broken straight away. Got my money back, thankfully. I was gonna get the 2025 16-inch but then I saw you can't upgrade the RAM. What a step backwards, huh?

Yeah… I find it super sketchy that they are being so tight lipped about their release date. This tells me they lack confidence in the direction they decided to go. If they decided to go with the non lpcamm ram, they shot themselves in the foot because they were the only gaming laptop left that had upgradeable ram. I know I am not alone in my unwillingness to show support for this greedy strategy. I am certain they will lose more money doing this than they think they stand to gain.

Couldn't agree more.  The reviews for the new 16inch model is great but some area saying that the smaller formfactor is just a bit of a gimmick because of the underbelly ‘lip’.  Like you, I believe the none upgradable  RAM is definitely a step in the wrong direction.  RAM from the manufacture is always priced at a premium and put off consumers.  It also to some extent devalues the machine.  For Razer to do this really is, in my view problematic as the build quality and general specs are comparatively superb - and that’s to some extent why they are so expensive in the first place but also the fact it can be upgradable.

Yeah… I just saw the pricing on the new razer blade 18… they are raping people with a $1,700.00 price tage for a measly 32 GB ram upgrade. That brings the laptop up to only 64GB of ram when last year’s 14 inch was upgradable to 96GB… Are these people insane? Do they really think consumers are this level of cucks where they will take it in the rear like this? The next year’s model should have better specs… Not worse… You don’t go from being the only upgradable gaming laptop to one of the least upgradeable laptops with the most expensive memory upgrades on the market and expect to keep your base. They are nuts!!!

Make your voice heard!! BOYCOTT!!!
