i have an blade 15 base late 2020,

i tried to connect two monitors via a TB throught a Docking station,

I could get down to two problems that could cause it.

1. BIOS / Firmware update

When i try to execute the update programm i get an error that its only compatible with a blade ( i have a blade)
couldnt find a solution.  (Serial Number is in BIOS)

2. GeForce Experience Driver

in some other discussions i have read that there are issues with newer gforce drivers so i downgraded to 512.59

   still doesnt work.

in Advance i’ll thank for everybodys help

Ok i have seen that i was a bit too fast with writing my problem despriction and that i left out some information, so to quickly break it down.

I want to connect 2 Monitors via docking station and currently it isnt working as i get no signal on either.
i have tried different cables etc. i have tried multiple ways of solving it with no success. as stated above there is still the problem with the firmware/bios where i cant get any further.

The problem might be on the docking station. Is the docking station also thunderbolt certified? I’m not sure about your blade base io ports and connection as well for your reference blade 15 2018 pairs with thunderbolt docking station (Razer’s) has capability doing dual monitor setting without needing any nvidia drivers nor bios upgrade (don’t do that since it’s already quite old models sometimes for these devices older might be better, i don’t do update as long it’s not really needed). It’s on 531.41 for the 1070 internal gpu and the external 3070 (I’ve Razer core setting as well in case it needs more gpu power).
