I own the Razer Blade 18 with 5090 GPU. After a few minutes of gaming I notice that the palmrest area is getting very hot. I wonder if this is normal because it is very unconfortable to use and I have not noticed this on any other 18” gaming notebook out there?
Especially the new Razer Blade 16 2025 which is way thinner does not have that issue.
Am I alone or are Razer Blade 18 2025 owners do have the same isse? This is way to hot for my liking
my same Razer 18 5090 palmrest realy hot. with disabled and enabled turbo boost. My old AW18 was less thermals but maybe that bacause new hardware. What thermals You had, me when playing 30 minutes COD Warzone avg 84-98c (with peak 104c), but after disabled CPU boost avg 70-74c (peak 80c). But with installed Synapse on balanced mode thermals +5, +6c higher bacouse FANs work slower. With uninstall Synapse and Cortex all work better and stable.
Thermals are not an issue on my device. They are well controlled. The only problem I have is that the palmrest is getting undconfortable hot, this is really a deal breaker for me. A 18” inch Notebook should do better than this…
Even when putting the FANs to maximum RPM the issue is there, it is a bit less but still hot
I had the Razer Blade 16 5090 before that and the palmrest stayed cool to the touch even under heavy load...

Did you notice the issue with the palm rest recently? What are you usually running before it starts to heat up? Please also send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and use it when I forward your case to our Technical Team so they can further check on the issue.
