Razer Blade Advacned 2021 Mid - Crushing randomaly
Hello, I got my 11800H/3070 Blade last week.
But it seems that it ain't stable. are the Cortex Balanced Theme is really able to deal with the heat.
Cause I Saw that in some cases- my CPU got to 100C and froze the computer.
The only thing that worked for me is to put the Fan on fixed 4500RPM.
Any advice here ?

+1Be sure, that fans are not blocked, and you can put something under the laptop, to have better air circulation (or put the laptop on some laptop stand).
BlushSAPPHIREbyte034What is the ambient room temperature when you are using your laptop? Letting it breath by raising the rear of the laptop would help (ensure the fan vents are free of any obstruction).

BlushSAPPHIREbyte034You meant synapse? I don’t know cortex has something to do with cooling. Balance should limit cpu and gpu tdp lower for better cooling, and yes once it hits thermal limitation the system will automatically shutting down, freezing I’m not sure if it’s hardware or software problem. Try switching the performance profile to costum and back again to balance and see if there’s thermal improvement, recently synapse bugging me on blade 14, right after gaming on cpu temperature went straightly to 90ish which’s unusual so I went to synapse and switching it then it back to normal 70 to 80ish playing Kena the spirit. Sometimes costum boost and high profile even cooler than balance mode which’s weird, so keep your eyes on temperature like using afterburner on screen display.

I may have the same problem as you. I’ve noticed many random restarts since getting my 2021 17” with 3080 and i9. It’s Event ID 41 Kernel Crash in Event Viewer. I haven’t been able to figure it out but assume it’s related to overheating. Thing is though, it happens when I’m not even doing anything really. I’ve been watching the temperatures tonight and have noticed spikes to the CPU well over 100 deg Fahrenheit and then it goes back down to 45 or so. Just out of nowhere. Kinda annoying.
No issues at all here. Just getting a hot room after 15min of work.
