Razer Blade Base or Razer Blade Advanced
Hi all!
I need some help explaining the real differences between these models.
From what I've understood the Base model has a RTX 2060 full version while the Advanced model comes with a RTX 2070 Max-Q or RTX 2080 Max-Q. Exactly how much worse is the RTX 2060 here? From this (https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2080-Mobile-Max-Q-vs-Nvidia-RTX-2060-6GB/m704710vs4034) comparison it doens't look all that much different. Am I misunderstanding something?
In Norway (where I'm from) I can get the Base model with 512GB ssd, 16GB of ram, I7-9750H and RTX 2060 for 2553 USD where as the Advanced model with 256GB ssd, 16GB of ram, I7-8750H and RTX 2070 Max-Q is 3000 USD. So 500 USD more for smaller SSD and older processor.
The last option is the advanced model with 512GB of ssd, 16GB of ram, i7 8750H and RTX 2080 Max-Q for 3165 USD.
Any thoughts? All of these has 144hz display, but I think that should be sufficient.
I love the look of the Razer Blade, but it's so difficult deciding what option would be best.

Yes, you’re comparing full fat rtx 2060 that has a lot higher tdp to mobile coin thickness rtx 2080maxq. I would recommend 2080maxq since I always go with best gpu, if I went with 1060maxq Blade 15 maybe now I want already upgrade it, fortunately I choose 1070maxq that was highest gpu option. Though that was around 30% performance difference with around €400 price gap, I think on RTX model performance for bucks on mobile gpu is worse maybe from 2060 to 2080maxq is around 20%. I think I posted here somewhere 3Dmark score between those 3 mobile gpu. Again your user benchmarks is wrong.

Thanks for your insight! Would the 8th gen processor be a major drawback for the 2080 Max-Q model?
The only heavy load the machine will be exposed to will be playing Battlefield V and playing games is usually CPU friendly I've heard.
Also, will I need to tweak a lot of settings like underholdning/overclocking etc to get the most of the machine?

NoAmericanoIt’s mobile gpu and cpu so they’re working great each other. Don’t have rtx Blade but I saw BfV run great on 2080maxq hitting over 100fps ultra meanwhile my 1070maxq really hard maybe on non fighting scenes. I wouldn’t overclocking Blade unless for fun like benchmarking. Mostly limiting cpu performance with balanced mode to 25 watt for better thermal on long session games. CPU undervolting is a must to me for better temperature and performance. On 9750H mid 2019 apparently is already undervolted by -100, but you can do on early 2019 8750H with Intel XTU or throttlestop easily.

Really hard to decide, but I'm thinking that the 8th gen CPU will be more than good enough for my needs. 240Hz is nice to have, but certainly not need to have.
NoAmericanoI see, yes It’s maybe difficult but as a gamer I’ll pick better gpu, 2070maxq can’t get 20K Firestrike Graphics score, but 2080maxq can get pass it easily, with only cpu undervolting and a bit gpu OC I saw, recently I even see users with new tweaks can get more. Beside getting the top gpu option could make you use it longer, last year I choose 1070maxq over 1060maxq and today I still don’t see the need of upgrading.
