Razer Blade Stealth (late-2019) power adapters

As much as I appreciate the durability of the braided cable with the 100W power brick, I'd like to find something a little more portable and easy to coil up. Optimistically, I've backed one of the 100W HyperJuice chargers on Kickstarter and am also considering trying Apple's new 96W adapter (late-2019 MacBook Pro 16"). Has anyone else had any success with alternative ~100W chargers?

Have you checked this out https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/hyperjuice-world-s-first-100w-gan-usb-c-charger/x/15172589#/ ?
Yes, that's the one I mentioned in the OP.

Sadly, no. I got the notification that it was being shipped a couple weeks ago but it's been sitting in "Shipment information sent to FedEx" status since Feb 5. :(

Best of luck :D

I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V1VP68P/ No issues so far, delivers the required power and is much more portable.

Just be careful of the heat as one user on review said, especially on quite demanding usage like gaming. I use also old Blade stealth 65 watt ac adapter or MacBook Pro 13 power brick or even Razer power Bank on the go for portability reason, it’ll charge on non intensive usage. But for gaming etc I’d recommend original fat cable and power brick, this was known issue for Blade 14 165 Watt (super compact form factor on its class), on heavy usage it was pretty hot and on long term usage the heat might defect the power brick cable or even the laptop if you’re unlucky.

You obviously always need to double check with your particular usage pattern. I have not found heat to be an issue. Under regular conditions my impression was that it actually runs cooler than the Razer one. But it is of course very well possible that it gets hot under sustained heavy load. The Razer power brick is built for very heavy loads.

As @Joikansai , I read about the heat. Did you try to play some hours of gaming using this charger? My need is to have a portable 100W charger and be able to play games. Not only for basic charging. Hope HyperJuice is good (Y)
