No you are not the only one i ve have had the same issue since about mid Aug. Just one day stopped working. No configuration of between the chat/game/thx audio outputs changes it now. The chat/game filter only controls volume for both now for some reason and i cant get it to work again. Really disheartening i cant even play with friends now its either hear the game or hear them or both at ridiculous volumes. If any one has a fix let me know.PLEASE!!!. Also the configuration in setting is output set to game and default com device the to headset. If any ones got some advice id sure appreciate it.

Hi all, I have the Razer Kraken TE Edition with Game/chat balance and everything was working fine months and months ago until one day, I tried using the Chat Audio through Discord and have my game played on Game Audio but the Kraken Mic is not detected. If I switch and activate my Razer Kraken Mic, the chat audio got disabled likewise. These happens vice versa with the Chat audio and mic, Game audio seems to work fine. I tried a couple of troubleshoots like changing the setup at control panel, updating firmware and deleting then installing audio drivers but nothing seems to make it work. Made this account solely for this purpose. Am I the only one experiencing this issue?



TLDR; Razer Kraken TE Game Audio working fine, but cant make both Chat audio and Mic work simultaneously.

Update: I decided to go back and go through all the combinations. In sound settings in PLAYBACK: place razer game as default audio and razer chat as default communication in PLAYBACK not recording PLAYBACK. Then go back to the to your desktop click the little speaker in the bottom right and place razer chat as the chosen device your chat/game filter should be functional now, controlling the actual filter not the dam volume.
