Razer Synapse Battery Management is urgently needed

Considering the battery bloat problems and the new laptops which are expected to pack the most heat ever (175W + 50W min is no joke), the temperatures of the laptop's body would be insanely high.

Now, batteries degrade faster if they are exposed to high temperatures. They degrade insanely fast if they are also above 80% whilst being at high temps.

Every other laptop manufacturer out there offers a way to limit the full battery charge. Asus, HP, Lenovo, Acer, XMG - you name it. You just set the max battery charge in % (usually it's 60/80/100%) in BIOS and/or software - and there you go, Windows instantly stops charging the battery once it reaches 60%.

This could and WILL save batteries in the future. Please ADD BATTERY MANAGEMENT TO SYNAPSE

Should Blade battery management be implemented in Synapse?

I agree! Please, provide this feature! It is a serious concern for me because I use my laptops constantly and to run a desk dock/monitor. This seriously makes me consider going Asus every year.

Well, they kinda listened to you. Some models got it and others didn't. My 2022 Blade 14 apparently missed the cut.

My laptop is on its second battery and this one is beginning to bloat now as well! Why on earth would this only be made available for newer models?! Please, Razer, for the love of god, expand this offering to older laptops as well!!!

Hey, Razer dev teams I hope you DO SEE THIS. But please roll out a simple firmware update or Synapse update for 2019 laptops and above for battery preservation settings. I do NOT want my $4300 blade studio to suffer from your over heating metal chasis laptops. These quality batteries are $100 dollars each and I’d rather not have an Indonesian to suffer their back for more lithium ion to be mined just so I can have decent battery life for my VERY expensive laptop.

My 2018 Adv doesn’t have it. Would be a game changer  !
