recommend a blade

I am currently in college doing a graphics design and animation course and I am looking for a laptop (preferably razer because I can get student discount) the new blade 13 fits my price range but im not sure if it can handle high level renders without a dedicated GPU. I probably could get enough money for a blade 15 but if the 13 is good for what I need it for then theres really no point (and I hate the green on the back of the 15)

Hey there! I really suggest a studio edition for this. I mean, It might be a bit of overkill, But this will do the job you need. Off all the reviews I have seen, The 13 should work for you. You shouldn't have too much trouble. But the studio edition is a beast for what you want to do with it. But The 13 should work. I can put a link below to the studio edition on the Razer store and Amazon. https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/razer-blade/shop#rtx5000--oled-60hz-9thgen--1tb-mercury https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Blade-Studio-Laptop-Thunderbolt/dp/B07YQP65K7/ref=sr_1_2?crid=EAGSCVNSN4BD&keywords=razer+blade+studio+edition&qid=1573580361&sprefix=Razer+Blade+studio+e%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-2 And I can assume you can find the 13.

Would that be the base 13 or what GPu should I get because I can't afford the studio edition.

Ok, Let me look into the 13's. What is your budget?

3D rendering and animation would definitely benefit from having a GPU, in fact I, personally wouldn't recommend it without one. If you're doing all 2D stuff, you should be ok without it.

My budget is about £1500 but I can probably stretch it to £1700

How about stretching £99 more:smile_:, there’s previous stealth MX150 costs around 1230 if Razer Store out of stock you can check on Amazon. But I personally would go with newest stealth FHD with Gtx 1650 for having better future proof. There’s new base model with Intel gpu iris Pro that much faster than previous Intel hd620 but MX150 still faster for less money. If you don’t care about the aesthetics (personally fall in love in mercury one:big_grin_:) Here’s the detail page if you didn’t check it yet. https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-laptops/razer-blade-stealth

Please don’t buy a Razer laptop. They’re horrible. They look really good and the specs look nice on paper but putting it all together is where it doesn’t work. What’s the use of all the specs if the machine doesn’t even work?
