I've read several articles showing that the boost clock for the mobile 2060 should be around 1200mhz. However on my blade I'm getting boost clocks in the 1400 and 1500 range normally and have even seen it hit around 1800 in quick peaks. Is this normal for the blade? do they have it factory overclocked or what? Running Shadow of the tomb raider I'm averaging around 75 fps on the in game benchmark with the highest settings selected if that info helps. Most reviews are of the 2080 max q version so trying to find comparable numbers are kind of hard to come across currently.

How much power consumption? Check using gpu z probably it’s highest 90 watt one. 1070mq was also not 1400mhz boost frequency but I hit several time 1600 easily. It’s because 90 watt model and on 2018 model, gaming mode overclocking gpu by 100 core and 300 memory, check it by clicking gaming mode and open afterburner, it’ll show +value on that profile.
Power usuage wont show up either in gpuz or hwmonitor and such, so I cant see how much power its actually using. Thermals are still good just wasnt sure why it was boosting higher than the advertised boost clock but im fine with it. just wasnt sure if something weird was going on. Thanks

More boost better performance, as long Temperature is fine nothing to worry about. Pretty sure it uses 90 watt which is great, 1070maxq is also fine in this 10 months hitting full 1070 boost clock area.
