Hi all,
I’m working on a Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2021) (RZ09-0369) for a client.
The machine previously booted into Windows without issue. The user attempted a Windows “Reset this PC” at home, and it now stops at a black pre-boot screen simply stating:
Enter Password
There is no padlock icon, no recovery key ID, and F12/boot options are blocked.
It appears a BIOS/Supervisor password may have been set inadvertently during the reset process, and the user does not know the password.
Before escalating to Razer Inc. support, can anyone confirm:
-
Is there any known recovery method for this model?
-
Does CMOS/battery disconnect clear supervisor password on RZ09-0369?
-
Or is motherboard replacement the only option if the password is unknown?
Appreciate any help, thank you.
