Short USB C cables with Raptor 27

Just picked one of these (165Hz version). Despite the mixed reception with reviewers I really like the monitor, both the design & image quality. Also love the unique cables but what's with the super short USB C cable? Longer please, Razer, or at least provide a longer version in the store :)

    Just set mine up. I prefer to not use the USB C connection and noticed that there are 3 regular USB ports and one already has a connection that’s clearly controlling the chroma. I unplugged this and ran it to my regular USB hub. Synapse immediately identified it. I don’t even have the power cord plugged in yet. TLDR - chroma appears to work fine without the USB C connection as long as you connect the preconnected USB to your computer.
