Thunderbolt 3 networking on Blade advanced 2020

Hi, I'm unable to use thunderbolt networking on my Blade, I have installed thunderbolt drivers, I have allowed networking but still cannot see any network connections. Please advise... I've also tried using the thunderbolt control center - neither of these offer any help. I am used to macbooks so this seems overly complex... I am trying to have a thunderbolt 3 network from a macbook to the blade. I might resort to buying ethernet adaptors but that feels sad tks Carrie

Why do you need Ethernet adapter, seems wireless works fine. Try connect thunderbolt peripherals or devices to check if the thunderbolt works properly, and for Bluetooth as well, try to pair Bluetooth device like mouse. For drivers search intel drivers update utility to check if there’s any updates need to be installed.

What would I check in device manager? There is no thunderbolt listed under network. usbc-3 connections to monitor/periphals work with no issue.

From what I know, you don't really need Thunderbolt Control Center to check if there's network connection. As long as you have a LAN cable connected to the Thunderbolt Dock and thereafter connected to your laptop, it should automatically connect to an available network. But if you're connecting from a computer to computer for ad-hoc network via Thunderbolt, there might be incompatibility.
