Yes, I also built a desktop again 2 months ago. The blades are great but for a good performance you can really get a desktop. My 13" blade is currently only in the drawer and is rarely taken out. Especially for gambling it is more fun. But I also like my blade very much. It's just a nice piece of technology.
"Tower" or "Laptop" it depends on your needs in my opinion.
- If I choose "Tower" it will be because I can build it like I want to be, it's more powerful, can be used for more years, easier and cheaper maintain, you know where it is always
😂
- If I choose "Laptop" it will be because I want to have it in any room at my home and anywhere I go to travel and not worry about being able to do my work or play games with friends, also if I don't have the space for "Tower" or maybe even better I just want to be lazy af
😂
I have "Tower" and "Laptop" if that matters and yes the "Laptop" gives you more freedom.
I would really love to have a Blade for my own to be able to play on it and even work whenever i'm away from home, but i gotta stay with the desktop one. I too have been using desktop for as long as i know how to use it. I did study and work on some computer too but my heart is with my desktop and my desk and my Razer peripherals and rgb and so on. I'm trying to improve it as much as i can.
i used to prefer tower back when i was younger and more into fixing, upgrading the parts etc. but as i got into college, work and more travelling, i prefer the laptop's mobility. so, it really boils down to how it suits your current lifestyle.
No loose parts and Mobility = Laptop
Easy and budget-free upgrades = Tower
But I still prefer laptops although it's more pricey to get the specs that I wanted.
Tower for sure. Much easier to upgrade, and user-friendly for introverts like me.
A laptop is essentially under any circumstances, not only capability, but also portable. You can shift anywhere by unplugging the power brick, although desktop would have a better performance.
I always choose a laptop for resale value and hygiene maintenance. When trading a second-hand device, a laptop is a much convenient for the buyer to test and avoid hardware compatibility issues. I remember when the old-time that I using a desktop, the box was all full of dust...
I remember the pc i first played solitaire on. it looks exactly like that! man im getting old lol
Windows 95 and MS paint. Good times
HP Pavilion Pentium 1 was my first PC
Now everything is small and compacted and packs a punch. How far the evolution of technology has come.
What is RAZERs next production in line? Hologram keyboards?
Really looking forward to RAZER gaming chairs
Laptop for mobility
i choose tower, cuz we can customize it
I was sceptical about laptops couple years ago, until I got one, no more desktops for me for sure
Tower anytime any day
My first preference is always tower due to its biggest plus, that's the upgradability. And so if i am given both the options and asked to choose i will always go with the Tower.
But if i'm on the move, i will get a medium spec'd gaming laptop:smile_: and keep it with me. As traveling is sometimes unavoidable for work or personal/holiday scenarios.
In short, its a tough choice. I will always select both and keep to be frank. LOL.
Both answers
Tower for Gaming Build or Server Build at home
Laptop to bring everywhere outside
if you are smart use your tower outside (Just kidding Don't)
I mean with laptops you always pay more and end up with less performance than a similarly specced tower. I mean you pay for portability not just in terms of money but also a loss in performance and usually bad thermals as compared to towers.
Razer Tomahawk with a 3090 and Intel Gen 11 please.
Tower always, for best performance and air cooling.
I had one laptop - a mid-2012 Macbook Pro which I needed for school at the time. Soon after, we moved onto iPads when they were required. I sold my laptop 2 or 3 years ago. I then started university but still didn't require a laptop, as the campus had enough desktops available - all new and with i5 or i7. A few times I did use my phone where a laptop would've been much more productive though. I never used it at home as I've got a tower, which I've changed several parts on.
I don't like the idea of buying a laptop which doesn't have interchangeable parts - is there even such thing anymore? (apart from RAM & storage) - but sometimes it is necessary for portability.
The portability that a laptop offers is what you are missing from a desktop. I used to have a laptop for gaming and i really liked it when i went to my friends house and we were playing all together.
I prefer laptop for now because I'm student and gamer at the same time :wink_: but I always dream to build tower in the future
I much prefer a tower over a laptop, since they offer better performance for the price, and offer more ports for all of my gear, among other advantages. I love my laptop for travel situations, however I would not want to use it full time.
@Dekades
you should give yourself like 1000 zsilver for using that CompUSA image
PC or Laptop is a little Battle as PS4 or XBox
Due to lifestyle - laptop
