Uncomfortable To Game on 2019 Razer Blade 15 RTX 2070

It's easy. Get yourself a Desktop system, half price, better performance, less noise and heat goes under the table. Very thin notebooks with highend cpu and graphics are a missconstruction, all of them, not only Razer's. That's physics.

Hello guys, OK, so every time I play a game on my laptop, the thing gets insanely hot. Even resting my left palm while pressing keys proves to be bothersome due to the heat. Never mind the top part of it (above the function keys), placing your finger for more than one second burns you, I'm not kidding. I can also feel the heat beneath of the keys (space key for example). My laptop is at stock and my room temps aren't bad (around 70 - 73F). I payed top dollar for this system and now every time a play a game I feel like grabbing a game pad due to how hot this thing gets. Anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers.

How about internal parts temperature like cpu, gpu, ssd? Hot palm rest area is one issue from thin light laptops, and on Blade laptops, beside that area is battery placement the cassis is made for heat transfer as well. To reduce it you want to make internal parts cooler and heat is outputted well by doing like cpu undervolting, manual high Fans rpm or even using cooling pad. I don’t use cooling pad but depends on game temperature I use high manual Fans on 4800rpm, balanced mode and rising bottom areas (to let intake better) to get average cpu temperature on 80ish areas, it’s warm on palms rest area on long session but not too hot to touch, though since it’s summer and outside temperature is often crossed over 35 degrees I prefer use external keyboard.

Maybe get yourself a stand, my blade 15 doesn't reach that kind of temp, it generally feels pretty cool, but then it is on a well ventilated stand. best way here is to get seperate keyboard, its a all aluminum so heat will spread.

I would recommend playing with the Orbweaver. It's such a great travel companion due to its compact size and it also allows for macros and shortcuts. It's a perfect pairing with the Razer Blade. It's too bad Razer doesn't add support for Synapse 3 or create an updated keypad that supports Synapse 3.
