Updating Razer Edge Pro to Windows 10 in 2019?

I ran into that glitch with Windows 10 where it was no longer able to recognize the Nvida card on my edge. At first I thought the card had gone bad, but I did a restore using the USB stick and it's right there now I'm back to Windows 8. I'm not sure if I want to go back to Windows 10, but I did like being able to stream games from the Xbox One to my Edge. Before I get started, I wanted to know if there are any better ways to go about it. Should I still follow the steps to get it upgraded to 8.1 first or is there a way I can go straight to 10? Is there any way to fix issues like auto-rotate no longer working, the screen flip, or "loosing" my Nvida card again?

    The rotate is also missing on my Edge somehow, I don’t really use that function anyway. However I think i don’t use the Edge this year😅 but I did restoration once and jumped straight to 10 from 8 using windows installation tools, try to download specific or latest version of windows 10 directly from Microsoft and install it through the media (usb Drive etc). I didn’t have loosing gt640le issue, it was missing windows file that made me stuck on booting logo, solved by recovery usb that Razer sent me, it was i think in 2017.

    I gave it a try and found I could go to Windows 10 so long as I did it after I restored from the recovery stick. If I tried to get updates for Windows 8 first, I ended up getting an error when I went back to 10. Unfortunately, my Nvidia drive has disappeared again. Going to try going back to a restore point I made after going to 10 and pause updates to see if that helps. Edit: I tried shutting down first and starting back up again. I can see Nvidia again now, but this is what happened the last time before I used the recovery stick. Trying GeForce experience to see if maybe it will give me an update I need to prevent it from happening again.

    Sounds some hardware incompatibility with windows 10, yes maybe should try from Nvidia drivers. Loosing Nvidia driver I experienced on my egpu setting between Blade and Razer Core because of driver crashing between dgpu and gpu inside enclosure, did not experience it on edge in around 4 years usage. I can’t check more details since my Edge is sleeping on my cellar.

    Unfortunately, it happened again. I tried restarting and shutting down several times in a row, but Nvidia won't come back. And if I try to open it in the control panel, it says my Nvida driver is not detected in the system. I'm going to do one more recovery and this time just upgrade to Windows 8.1. If my driver doesn't disappear, then I'll know for certain it's a Windows 10 issue. Edit: Well, I seem to be in a fix now. For some reason, I can't use my recovery stick anymore. When I got into recovery and choose to boot from my USB, it just restarts back to regular windows. And when I try to go into UEFI and change the boot order, it keeps saying I can't do it.

    I was searching online and it seems the error I'm running into might be resolved by updating the bios. According to system information, the bios is called Phoenix Technologies Razer.EDGE.05. I tried searching online for it but am not turning up anything. It's not listed on the download page on Razer Support either. Any suggestions?
