Windows installed in HD drive instead of the SSD

Hello, I just received a brand new - factory refurbished Razer Blade 15 2018. It comes with a 256Gb SSD and a 2Tb HD. I noticed it was very slow when I set up windows and noticed that the OS is installed on the standard drive (the 2Tb one) instead on the fast SSD. I've tried running a factory reset but it gives displays an error (a windows with the number 5 in it). How can I change boot drive to be the SSD? I really appreciate your advice. Regards,

Factory reset won't transfer your OS to SSD. You have 2 choices:
  • Download Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft site, run a clean install of Windows on SSD
  • Use some cloning tool (opensource Clonezilla or Acronis) and do 1:1 copy from HDD to SSD.

Thanks for the advice. I can't do a 1:1 disk cloning because of drive sizes. This is what I did: 1. Contacted Razer support, it was great; they will send me a recovery usb stick. 2. Meanwhile, I ran a clean installation of Windows on the SSD, it's flying now, but I don't have any Razer tool installed.

You can with acronis. It automatically shrink the partition, unless your data on disk is larger, than SSD ;) You can download drivers manually from Razer site (+ Synapse!): https://support.razer.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade-15-2018-base/ or for Blade 15 2018 Advanced model: https://support.razer.com/gaming-laptops/razer-blade-15-2018/
