Excited for Synapse 4!

Briefly tried the beta today and OMG the interface is so much faster, especially chroma studio. Creating profiles is not going to be a laggy nightmare anymore especially for those who has over 5 devices. Great signs of good things to come. The UI does need some polishing, having tabs for each device is kind of weird and feels very unorganized.

Switched back to Synapse 3 because it still currently doesn’t support the Asrock Razer Edition motherboards the one and only device out of the 10 that I have that’s not yet supported.

Also, Synapse 4 kept crashing for whatever reason. Pretty sure its due to it being a beta. For the mean time, I’ll wait it out until my motherboard is supported.

Big props to the team working on optimizing performance! Keep it up!

Final note: Audio Visualizer still sucks...give us the option to change the direction per device of the visualizer so it doesn’t look weird on “vertical/horizontal” oriented devices like the RGB Chroma Controller and the Lian Li Case. It looks really ugly on those.

Check out how openRGB does their visualizers. It’s a visualizer canvas that you can then drag and drop individual devices to different zones with different effects and orientations. If you could do that and better I wouldn’t need openRGB anymore for music visualizers.

I switched back to Synapse 3 too. But for other reasons: Razer Tartarus Pro is not supported yet and Macros are not working.
