Just got Kraken V3 Pro Wireless today

Positives

1. They're pretty.
2. Comfortable after a bit of stretching
3. Noise cancellation is great
4. Sound Quality is good when it's clear.
5. I was hesitant about the haptic feedback but I love it
6. Great range. No degradation as I walked around my house.

Negatives/Problems

1. Lots of random static, random tones, choppiness randomly
2. Randomly just... Stops working. It stays showing as a device in windows. I see sound outputting to its source in windows, but it disappears from Razer Synapse. I have to re-plug in the wireless USB adapter to get it to show up in Synapse again

This sucks. Another Razer product I waited a long time for and was very anxious to get only to have major problems day 1 out of the box. Again.

My drivers are up to date. BIOS is up to date. I've reinstalled my audio drivers. I'm sure there's a laundry list of things to still try but damn.

Update: It seems kind've a luck of the draw kind of thing. I had a gaming session where the audio was 99% clear and none of the issues I described.

Had another where I DID have everything described to the nth degree.

Since then I've restarted my windows audio service, restarted synapse, moved to a different USB port and for now things are working solidly.

I'd still like to know what specifically is causing these issues when they do arise. Is it that the wireless functionality is using different channels/frequencies and some are better than the others?

    Hi i had similar problems, for these you describe its probably just software related, anyway switching THX off in synapse should resolve it. There is bug that while this option is on its messing with the actual THX output device. It should work just as unlock the feature for windows so you will not loose functionality.

    However i had also another problems like volume control wheel which was causing aprox between 50-75% of volume that right side was louder than left.
    And on top of it charging issue, not many ppl actually notices this but headset will never stop charging and resets the whole process when you replug the cable. No green LED indicator to finish, and also within synapse its showing only aprox 90% of battery even when left overnight.

    RMA replace did not help as new replacement behaved the very same way. Ended up returning it, now waiting till Razer fix this.
