7.1 Surround Sound Activation Support

I just bought the Razer Blackshark v2 x usb. I just downloaded razer synapse and 7.1 surround sound. However it says I would need an activation code. I tried tio input my serial number to get a code but it says my headset is not eligible. But the website does say eligible.

Same problem here, its looks like a planned obsolescence
