Raiju TE (v1.04): Still some weirdness
I received my new Raiju Tournament Edition on Friday and spent the weekend playing Overwatch with it.
First off, it is way, way, way more stable and usable than my previous Raiju. I have not noticed any stick drifting or connection problems.
However, there still seems to be weirdness in stick responsiveness. In many instances, I'll be turning to aim at a target, and the reticle will pause and then overshoot my intended target. I don't know if this is lag or what, but it happens fairly frequently. I have switched back and forth between my dual shocks and this raiju and the dual shock definitely tracks much more smoothly than the Raiju. I guess I would say that the Raiju response sometimes becomes "Jerky". I am sitting about 6 feet away from the Console using bluetooth.
I have only tested this on Overwatch, so I don't know what the controller does on other games. This new controller came with v1.04 installed, so I assume it's the newest version.
Has anyone else encountered this sort of thing with the new controller.
PS - The Raiju is definitely one of the most quality feeling controllers.

After further testing, I really think something is still not right. Both my SCUF controller and my Sony Dualshock controllers have the exact same responses to stick movements and move in a linear controlled movement. The Raiju moves radically different. It seems the sticks are much, much more responsive to the point of being unusable. I have almost no "fine" control in aiming and movement with Raiju: everything seems jerky and non-linear. I spent two hours last night switching between the three controllers and there definitely feels like there is still something wrong with Raiju response.
I'm at a loss. Is any one else having problems with the new batch?
MrBunny420No problems with my third raiju ultimate (1.04 New batch) after 3 weeks of daily use. Did you tried a hard reset ? (Small hole at the back of the controller ?

After your suggestion, I just tried that using a paper clip. It didn't seem to change it's behavior and it did not reset my custom mappings. Perhaps I did it wrong?
MrBunny420So I just got a 1.04 controller myself and I primarily play Overwatch. I had the same issue you’re describing about the lag in movement sometimes. Like you push the stick all the way in a direction, it kinda...sits for a second before suddenly jumping way beyond. I found that when I was connected to my phone (so the bottom setting button is illuminated) it causes that unpredictable movement. The FAQ actually talked about it and as long as it’s not connected I haven’t had that issue since. Now the controller does have some extra oomph or is too sensitive or something. All movements seems to be at a x2 in speed. I’ve had to adjust all of my heroes sensitivity levels down a considerable amount. I think it’s better now, but will take time to get used to.

Mine has not been connected to my iPhone when this occurs.
You are exactly right about "extra oomph". I set my sensitivity down to Zero ( Overwatch Settings) and I am still having a very hard time adjusting to the movements. With the same settings on the SCUF or the DualShock, I have no problems whatsoever.
When you set one of the buttons to "Sensitivity Brake", and push it, the controller tracks more like I'd expect it to. Something just seems off in its movement.
MrBunny420Turn on the controller in Bluetooth mode. Press and hold it down (small hole at the back i mean), untill the controller turned off. The light will go out. You now did a hard reset.

As a test, I plugged the Raiju TE in my PS4's USB port and used it in wired mode. It didn't seem to make much difference. I still find the controller very hard to use as it seems to be way too sensitive and erratic.
