Help!
Hi All! I am not a technical person at all! I have a BlackWidow Chroma V2 hooked up on to my 2017 10.13.6 Mac desktop. I downloaded and installed the synapse 2.0, uninstalled by terminal reboot and repeated the process when it only worked once. The lights on the keyboard works once plugged in; it rotates between the basic colors- pink, purple, red, blue, and green. The issues I am having are 1. when I click the synapse icon on the menu bar at the top of the screen it shows the rainbow loading thing. Whenever I run the curser over the icon the rainbow thing comes back for as long as the computer is on. 2. when the synapse program actually does open it is black except for my email address up top, the Razer symbol, the setting icon, a green dot and three lines in a box at the bottom. I does not completely load. 3. If the synapse program does load, I am rarely able to use downloaded light patterns that I got from Razer website. I am not a gamer in any way. I bought this keyboard to hear the tactile buttons when I practice my typing, do my homework and to see the pretty patterns that my friend is able to use on her ASUS. I have had several people say that their keyboards work just fine on their Macs. This is now my third or 4th keyboard because I thought something may have been wrong with them, and this is the second Mac I have used, the first one was a laptop. When I hooked it up to my mother HP laptop the same patterns worked just fine. Am I missing something? Thank you for anyone responding to help me fix this.
