The Razer Hammerhead ANC problem

So I have been using the Razer Hammerhead ANC for a while. Idk if any of you realized the low volume problem while using the headphones. Whenever I set my volume level to 1, I barely or can't hear anything much. I also turned off the noise cancelling function, but it doesn't work. I just wanna ask if this is only occured to me or all others so I can send this for warranty. Let me know if you guys have the same issue! Btw I'm using Razer Phone 1 and Omen by HP laptop when using the headphones.

I just bought one and it makes a sound at volume 1 but at the 6 lowest volume levels the audio is very crackly. At higher volumes it works fine until there is a quiet part in the audio, at which point it crackles just for that part. It seems the driver can't handle low volumes. I just emailed support and then came here to see if anyone reported similar.

Seems like either only 2 of us has the problem or all has the same problem but they don't realize it

Maybe no one else ever tried turning the volume down.

I don't think so, a lot of people listen to music or things at night, there's no way no one don't realize this.

I am expecting support will write back to me saying, no this is not normal please return for an exchange.

Well if you said so, I will ask for a replacement to see if they can fix this

They asked me to exchange it. I just sent it out to them.

I noticed that the issue is much worse on my Razer Phone 2 than it is on my laptop. So now I'm concerned that the phone has its own issue too. If the new Hammerhead works perfectly on my laptop but not the Razer Phone 2, I'll have to do an exchange on that next. Actually I'm going to start that already because of it has an issue with the external speakers.

Nah I don't think it's the RP fault, it's the headphone and drivers itself I believe. Since I used the USB-C adapters quite often and I don't see any crackling sound.

The new one arrived today. This one sounds perfect plugged into my laptop, at the lowest volume. But it is crackling at lower volumes on my phone. Must be the phone... Also, I returned an R3M1 and the new one is an R3U1, so I need to look up what the difference is.

Seems like it solved the problem just a bit... Not sure if I should return it too.

Are you using yours with a Razer Phone 2?

I'm using the original Razer Phone and has the crackling issue too. My RP is pretty much end up going in the bin due to the deadzone in the touchscreen
