Razer Wolverine Ultimate Stick "drift"

So I was using my controller and out of no where my right stick started drifting. So I tough through it because it's not that bad then I started to realize when I used my left stick to run forward in games is when my right stick thinks I want to look to the sky as soon as a I stop running the right stick stops moving up. Is this a hardware problem or software problem?
