Scroll Up and Down Not Working (Razer Basilisk)

I have owned this mouse for not more than 2 months, I was sure never to have ever dropped it. Cleanliness-wise the table is never dirty, even more accumulation of dirt within less than a month. Playing games last night was not an issue, don't recall having issues earlier in the day as well. Just recently the scroll up and down do not work, but the scroll click does. Below are the steps I've attempted at fixing the issue;

• Restarting PC
• Uninstalling driver (Device Manager) and then plugging mouse back in
• Repairing Razer Synapse
• Uninstalling and Reinstalling Razor Synapse
• Checking Scroll wheel settings in Razor Synapse
• Plugging into another PC
• Plugging into another port
• Clearing %appdata%

The mouse behaves weirdly when I uninstall the driver in the device manager. After plugging the mouse back in the scroll works for a good few split seconds before not working again. I've searched for many other solutions on this matter and I feel that its more of a software issue than a hardware issue. The mouse is still relatively new and has been treated well. I am open to any suggestions.
