I plugged my mic in to my controller today and the mic was unresponsive but there was still audio coming through the headset just needing some assistance on how to fix this problem

What’s the model of your headset? Is that wireless using a USB dongle or an analog device with a 3.5mm cable? Have you tried connecting the peripheral to another device? Please perform the steps from this article. Let me know how it went.
