Kraken X Mic & Headphones issues SOLVED

Just got these today and spent a while troubleshooting with headphones and mic not working, then microphone only working, then headphones only working. Finally got it all together... Used splitter extension cable in back (custom built PC) In Sound Control Panel: 1) PLAYBACK TAB: Selected Speaker as default device. Even though it loads as Realtek Digital Output this is an analog connection. 2) RECORDING TAB: Realtek (R) Audio set as Default Device then select and click "Properties" 3) PLAYBACK TAB: Speakers set to Default Device (not Digital Output) 4) GENERAL TAB: Device usage enabled 5) LISTEN TAB: Set Playback through speakers 6) LEVELS TAB: Make sure it's not muted 7) ADVANCED TAB: 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz Default format Last make sure the mute button isn't enabled and sound is up.
